RIDGID 3600-Watt Subaru 211cc Portable Generator RD903600 Review

I purchased my 3600w RD903600 ridged generator from Home Depot in May 2013. Starting out the Generator would not provide output through the outlets. Called Ridgid and they suggested pushing the button on the GFI. It worked. 15 hours later, generator would run for 3-5 minutes and shut down. Ridgid said call Subaru and Subaru said put more oil in crankcase. Indications on the bottom of dip stick are a minimum (fill it up) even if covered could shut down generator on protection circuit. 30 hours later no power again. GFI reset button has popped out leaving bare springs. Ridgid gave me a service number in area I was in and they didn't answer the phone for three hours and then 1) they didn't know they were a repair dealer and 2) owner left before telling me if they could repair the generator to pick up her son. I called Ridgid again and asked if I could just replace the GFI and they said that I would void the warranty. Called again a few days later to get another "authorized" repair facility and was placed on hold for over thirty minutes and never answered. Called again this morning and "authorized repair" facility said Ridgid had to provide the GFI or I would void the warranty and they didn't have one.
