I got this Hyundai generator used today for $100 off the the local buy/sell. It was in great shape, the owner barely used it, it was only a year old I'm told. Had sat around for up to 6 months over winter before I bought it, the tank was full of old gas. I started it to make sure it would start and run well. I checked the oil, set the choke, turned the panel switch to "on" and gave it a pull. To my surprise, it started right away and ran smooth as soon as the choke was pulled back. I was amazed. It ran perfectly smooth, no hiccups in engine speed what so ever. After a minute of warm up, I plugged 2 x 500 watt work lights to the generator, no problems handled the load immediately, slight increase in engine speed, no issues what so ever with the 1000 watt load. The noise level is louder than my friend's Honda EU2000, but not bad, can still talk beside it, probably high 60's db. I can and will recommend this great little genny to anyone looking for something 1000watts or less. Walmart has it in stock for $257 new so getting it for a $100 was a steal. I am using this generator to field charge RC Helicopter 6S 5000mah Lipo batteries. Great little generator for field hobby use, don't know about the fuel burn as yet, time will tell. :)
