These generators are brand new in the box, but they were manufactured in 2007! It comes with a nice Japanese made industrial Vanguard engine. The fuel shut off valve is junk though and was broken on the generator that I received. I expected better from a commercial rated generator. Currently waiting on a replacement before I can run the generator. At least the price was right when I got it, it fluctuates. Will keep you posted.
