The panel is a nice looking panel The only complaint is that there was only one picture on the sight. It didn't show the back side. There was nothing in the discription that said anything about the fact that there were no MC4 connectors included. The panel wireing was not very good splitting a harness with two wires. One to the pos and one to the neg side of the panel box. this allowed loose wires and would allow possable axcess for bugs. I installed MC4 Connectors and the correct gage wire to compleet the panel correctly. Regardless I purchased 3 Panels.

All Power America APGG10000 10,000-Watt Gas Powered Portable Generator Review

So far I love it. Arrived on time, well packed. Set up rather easily. I oiled and fueled it and it started on the first pull. Battery included. Hooked it up to transfer switch and ran everything I needed to. Not too much pull on the generator and I hooked up a gas furnace, well pump, two refrigerators, sump pump, and two rooms of outlets.

Negatives: Instructions were worthless! Needs 90 fuel. we have 87, 89 and 92 available. I will use the 89 and hope that's fine. Sent parts with no explanation that I have been able to find. A plug with two clips on the end of the wires? Not sure what that is for. No connectors for the battery. I guess I am supposed to find some screws and nuts of appropriate size to connect it.

High Voltage Plasma Generator Kit Review

This was pretty easy to assemble and the instructions are great. I wish most kits had instructions like the one that came with this kit.

I gave this product 3 stars because I was not able to create the Jacob's letter experiment. I used a 12.8 volt, 3 amp transformer that I got from Radio Shack in my construction. With this transformer, I wasn't impressed with the arc length. I was getting max 1 to 1.5 cm arcs. I doubt you could get 1 inch arcs with the 14 volt, 3 amp transformer that the instructions recommend but I didn't try it.

You need about 30 kV for every inch and I don't think this kit can deliver.

All in all, this kit is cool and well designed. It only lacks the power that I was expecting so I only give it 3 stars. I would have given it 4 stars if I didn't get bored of it after an hour playing with it.

Kohler 30RESA 30,000-Watt Liquid-Cooled Standby Generator Review

I hesitated for a while before adding a stand-by generator, but decided to finally do it and spend a bit more for this Kohler unit than a comparable or smaller Generac. I do not regret for one second making this investment. After Hurricane Sandy, my town was out of power for a week or more. I ran this generator for 6 full days (ten seconds after we lost power until it finally was restored) and this machine did not hiccup for a second. Did not burn a drop of oil and hardly used any coolant at all. Other people in town with Generacs either had failures after 3 days or had to shut down to add oil every few days. And having a 200 Amp transfer switch (separate) means I can go about my business as normal even with an extra ten people over. Cooking, washing, lights, heat, (even the x-box thankfully) went on as if nothing happened.

I put a fence around it to spare my neighbors the sound of the generator reverberating off of my brick house. In the house, I only hear it if I go over to the wall where it rests. I highly recommend this unit. I think based on Sandy alone, my investment has paid for itself.
