My Kitchen Knight Meat Thermometer

I've had one of these thermometers for a while and when I saw it on Amazon I thought I should write a few words to give my impression.

This is not an oven thermometer, so for testing the temp of roasts, I find I have to remove the meat from the oven. Nevertheless, I always get a quick readout in just a few seconds. The same with poultry. I no longer have the worry about under or over cooking as it always turns out the way it should.

I found that it has a wider than usual temperature range with a good length stainless steel probe and easy to grip body. Best of all, it's digital, so you get an exact reading, not like my old thermometer where I had to guesstimate the temperature by looking at a pointer.

I also like this thermometer especially when doing the barbecue, because it is much more accurate than our old one when we always overcooked the meat just to make sure there was no risk from contamination. With everyone having different choices in how they want their steak, getting it just right was not always possible.

Now with the help of this thermometer, everyone is happy so I can definitely recommend it.
