I wanted something my kids and their friends could use to roast marshmallows or hot dogs over the fire, besides the sticks or streached out clothes hangers. These work perfectly. The two prongs keep what you're cooking from twisting around and cooking one side only. The prongs are long enough that we could fit two hot dogs or four marshmallows (not that kids would EVER want that many at once) and the different colored wooden handles don't get hot or confused with someone else's. They were also easy to clean - we had a bucket of "emergency" water they stood them in when finished to keep the marshmallows from drying on. I am thinking of getting another set for when we have larger get togethers.
