It was easy to wire up to my solar panel, battery, and charger. It is what you need if you want to wire up your own solar light. It will control the battery charging during the day and then turn your light on at night.

I would have scored this higher except the documentation is lacking, the LED display does not seem to provide a useful function, and there is a intermittent switch that is also undocumented and does not seem to do anything.

If the LED showed the solar panel voltage or battery voltage I would have rated it another star.

I would buy this product again.
