Who would have thunk, a generator from Amazon! This unit is heavy, so two people needed to load / unload from vehicle. Once the wheels and handles are assembled (easy) it is very easy to move around. Filled with synthetic oil or you can use the standard oil it comes with, put a little gasoline in the tank to test, set the choke and it started in one pull. Unit is well built in the USA with quality materials so first impression is good, should last a long time.

Update to my review on this Generac generator: We got hit by the October 2011 Nor'easter, power got knocked out right away when trees overloaded with snow began to snap over power lines. Perfect time to check this generator out. Wheeled it outside (put well away from home) hooked it up to my panel with approved generator connection (have a licensed electrician to do this for you ahead of time, don't wait until power is out, too late) fueled it up, set the choke, one pull and it started right up. Flipped the switch to energize the outlets on the front panel and voila, power! I had water, heat, refrigerator, microwave, lights and dishwasher, power in select outlets for TV, satellite dish and laptop (DSL knocked out for a while but returned well before the power did) and enough power to run heavy (12 Gauge) extension cords to run two refrigerators in neighbors' homes. Ran for 6 days, 24 hours a day, stopping machine only to refuel (must shut off to refuel!) Fuel consumption was about 5-6 gallons every 12 hours. I am very happy with this generator, it performed flawlessly. I have recommended it to many people.
