I bought this for backup home power and ran a Reliance PB-30 inlet (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BQT47S/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_img_sol_0) to power my circuit panel. I've only tested it a couple of times for 30 minutes but it worked great. It produced enough power to run my electric water heater, electric dryer, TV, lights, etc.

My only complaint is the vibration from a heat shield the manufacturer installed over the exhaust. It could be secured a little better with minimal effort. Also, it could use a slightly longer handle - it is difficult to rotate it back and move it using the one supplied. Also, beware Fedex Freight - they damaged my generator (cosmetic) and it was a hassle getting them to deliver because their truck wouldn't come in my neighborhood.
