This solar panel puts out 9 volts off of ambient room light from lightbulbs. You will get better output from direct sunlight. I bought it to replae a 9 volt battery running off of indoor lights. It does exactly what I wanted it too do. It puts out 11 volts on a grey cloudy day outside. You should get 12 or more volts on a sunny day outside. Hope this helps!
