We bought one of these units to run our mission compound in Africa which is host to a print shop, 6 residences, a primary school and guest house. For the past 6 years it has been running almost 4hrs a week and we are now at 11,500hrs. 6 months of the year we have highs over 40C ambient. We have just done our first repair and that was to a leaking fuel tank (ordered single wall instead of double wall tank) and not the generator. We have only changed oil, filters and added fuel. As of 6000hrs we switched to Amsoil oil and change filters every 1000hrs instead of the 250hr spec. It has never given us a lick of trouble and we consistently run 30-40amps on 3 phases. Would buy it again in a heartbeat but I suspect we will get 20,000hrs plus out of it so that will be a while yet. Good job Hardy!
