I ordered this carburetor AND a Generac Brand replacement carburetor from Gen-Parts.com.

This carburetor was $38.96 with free shipping. The carburetor from Gen-Parts.com was $64.30 with free shipping.

Upon receiving both carburetors, which arrived within a day or two of eachother, I closely inspected both for differences. I removed the float bowl and inspected the float and float valve in each carburetor. I inspected the ports, linkages, wiring, and general hardware. I found both carburetors to be ABSOLUTELY IDENTICAL, even down to the soft phillips head bolts that secure the carburetor bowl, which I strongly recommend changing to stronger hex head bolts.

For the ultimate test, I installed this carburetor on my Generac 5500, and it works perfectly.

So considering that fact that: I've observed them to be identical, that this carburetor works as intended, that this company also sends you a fuel line ($6.70) and fuel line clamps, and costs $25.34 less, I highly recommend this carburetor.

Please note that you will still have to buy two gaskets, one that mates the carburetor to the engine, and the other that mates the air intake to the carburetor.
