This inverter can pull so much energy and time out of a battery relative to a lot of other inverters including pure sine inverters. And it does it extremely quietly as well. I also have an off-grid solar system and use this inverter to power my entire entertainment center, (TV, 7.1 receiver and powered sub, cable box, PS3, modem, etc...) and this thing doesn't make a peep.
